hunting a rabbit

i’ve worked for peanuts these few days, trying to juice up the creative hamster. finally, we can gather some of it’s poo and use it to design the menus at the coffeshop. this is the first notable draft i was able to come up with. it’s just a couple of hours of working with layout, a couple of days working with fuzzy concept.

previous menu was minimalist (that’s what we had to work with), i want to impress(ionist) this time. hopefully, each edition will bring some people closer to a basic set of knowledge.

tomorrow, we should decide on the text color and add retouch some of the elements a bit, to give the image more depth.

later edit: these entries belong on the coffeshop’s blog. but there’s no point in posting there now, we’ve yet to have company in the user page. volunteers for daily activity?

later edit: some (more) specs: the page number/section will only be featured once, towards the margin of the menu (as opposed to the stub). the background image will be different for each page/section, filtered to match an impressionist painting. i’ve always wanted to inhibit selecting stuff according to price. stuff is not that expensive at the coffeshop (yet :D )
